About Leesa
Hi, I’m Leesa! I’m a professional frontend software developer with more than 10 years of experience building websites and web applications. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with technologies including JavaScript, React, HTML, CSS, Node.js, Git, APIs, PHP, and WordPress.
Teaching has also been an important part of my career. I’ve taught web development at both the university and coding bootcamp level, working with students ranging from complete beginners to aspiring professional developers. I also have experience providing one-on-one tutoring and mentoring.
I know how frustrating programming can feel when something just isn’t clicking—or when one tiny bug keeps your entire project from working. I enjoy breaking complicated concepts into approachable pieces and creating an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, experimenting, and making mistakes.

I like to ask questions and walk through code step-by-step so you can understand what’s happening, identify the problem, and learn techniques you can use independently next time.
With over 10 years of professional web development experience and several years teaching web development at the university and coding bootcamp level, I bring both real-world industry experience and a strong teaching background to our sessions.
I can help with JavaScript, React, HTML/CSS, responsive web design, Git, APIs, debugging, frontend development, and more. Lessons are appropriate for beginners, college students, bootcamp students, self-taught developers, and junior developers who want to strengthen their skills.
