About Mira

You will be learning French with an experienced and dedicated French Professor with 35 years of teaching experience.

I teach students from different age groups and educational backgrounds, including IB, IGCSE and other school curricula, as well as adults preparing for DELF, TCF and TEF.

My classes are conducted online using Google Meet or Zoom, making it possible for students in India and abroad to learn comfortably from home.

I believe every student is different, so I take the time to understand your level, goals and specific difficulties before planning our lessons. Whether you are a beginner, preparing for an examination, improving your spoken French or learning French for Canada, you will receive structured and personalized guidance.

I am committed to creating a friendly, respectful and encouraging learning environment where you can ask questions freely and develop confidence at your own pace.

You can expect punctuality, preparation, regular feedback and professional guidance in every lesson.

Most importantly, I want my students to feel that French is not something to fear or memorize, but a language they can understand, enjoy and confidently use.

With 35 years of experience teaching French, I have had the opportunity to work with students from different age groups, backgrounds and educational systems. My approach is simple: French should be understood, practiced and spoken—not just memorized.

I adapt every lesson to the student's level, objectives, pace and learning style. Whether you are a complete beginner, a school student, an adult learner or preparing for a language examination, I create lessons that are structured, practical and engaging.

What happens in my classes?

A typical lesson combines several skills rather than focusing only on grammar. Depending on your needs, we may work on:

️ Speaking & pronunciation – building confidence through guided conversation
Reading & vocabulary – understanding texts and developing useful vocabulary
️ Writing – learning how to organize ideas and express yourself correctly
Listening – improving comprehension through carefully selected activities
Grammar – explained clearly with practical examples and exercises
Real-life French – useful expressions and situations that help you communicate naturally

For DELF, TCF and TEF, I additionally focus on the specific requirements of each examination, including exam strategies, task structure, vocabulary, connectors, argumentation, time management and speaking/writing techniques.
