I have known Nick now for nearly 4 years. I have found him to be honest, trustworthy, and have always found him to be supportive and courteous . Nick is an excellent teacher! He provides both a great mix of listening, speaking and practical learning activities and a very safe, supportive learning environment.

As a student, you feel pushed to learn and try out new competencies, feel safe and supported in doing so and gain valuable feedback that helps you to improve.

I would highly recommend him.

Nick is one of the best teachers and nicest people I've had the pleasure of meeting. His style is suited to the student and his passion for music and the drums make the classes fun and involved. He is a master at his instrument but knows how to communicate to someone with no understanding of the instrument I can't recommend this man enough!

Nick’s an amazing teacher! Aside from improving my drumming almost immediately, he’s the most supportive, positive human and is a pleasure to be around. He makes everyone feel welcome and comfortable regardless of your skill level and I highly recommend him on all levels.

Nick is super patient when it comes to teaching! On-top of being incredibly professional, Nick is great at explaining complex material and patterns when teaching! Super fun and very efficient! 10/10 would highly recommend Nick for drum lessons!!

I've known Nick for a few years now, both of us performing live gigs in the Australian music scene.

Nick is one of the most enthusiastic, driven and knowledgeable teachers in Brisbane. He has a wealth of live and recording experience playing with a vast array of artists, and has an incredible work ethic. He has a keen ear for current trends and understands how the music scene is evolving, both on social media, and in the field.
He's an immensely versatile and 'complete' player, making him well-equipped as a teacher.
Any aspiring drum student would be lucky to have him as a teacher.

As a side note, Nick is one of the few peers I have that I would think is savvy to hire as a drum tech. Needless to say, Nick did a fabulous job teching for me for one of the most important shows of my band's career.

Nick creates a safe and fun learning environment! His has a really high level of skill on his instrument and is an excellent teacher. I always leave my drum lessons feeling inspired and supported!

The reason I think Nick is such a great teacher is because he is a really engaging and effective communicator. He is also very generous with his time and there is never a mountain too high or a bridge too far. I now set what would seem to be ambitious goals because I know with his guidance I can achieve them!

I’ve known Nick for a long time now and he never fails to amaze me with his unbreakable positive outlook, support, and encouragement. And man oh man oh man … can the boy hit with those sticks or what??!!! Wouldn’t bother looking for another drum teacher - this dude is the real deal.

Whilst I had already seen signs that Nick was a great teacher, I cannot express enough how incredibly encouraging and understanding he was when it came to taking me on as a new student - I have had very little experience on the drum kit, but within the first few minutes of our first lesson, he had already created an environment where I felt comfortable and excited to learn. He has already taught me some extremely helpful techniques, and I look forward to building upon this knowledge in our next few lessons. Would highly recommend!
