About Robin
Hi, my name is Robin! I have been playing drums for 20+ years and working in the music industry for 10+ as a professional drummer. Whether you’re just trying to learn a new instrument, or take your drumming to the next level, I can teach you what it takes!
I have recorded on many notable albums, play in multiple bands every weekend in Portland, OR, and graduated from a university with a degree in music.
I can play and teach all styles and genres, but I specialize in Rock, Pop, Country, Hip-Hop, Metal, Funk, and Jazz.

My lessons focus on the student. I teach a variety of people, so I fine-tune each lesson based on the individual.
An example of a lesson starts with a warm-up, focus on technique, and then usually moves to the drumset. There we focus on feel, specific beats, and often a song of the week that we focus on learning.
