About Opal

I am an experienced Flute tutor with 18 years of teaching experience. I teach flute to school students, college students, and working professionals who want to learn music in a clear and comfortable way.

My teaching philosophy is based on strong fundamentals, patience, and clear communication. I believe flute learning should begin with correct breathing, posture, finger movement, and sound quality. These basics help students play confidently and improve steadily.

I explain lessons in simple language and demonstrate techniques clearly. I also use real-life musical examples and easy practice routines so students can apply what they learn during daily practice. I encourage regular practice without pressure.

One of my achievements is guiding students for school and college exams, cultural programs, and stage performances. Many students have improved their tone quality and confidence under my guidance. Teaching flute and seeing students enjoy their progress is very rewarding for me.

I welcome beginners and advanced learners and guide them patiently throughout their learning journey.

About the lesson

My flute teaching methodology is designed to make learning simple, clear, and practical. I believe music should be understood, not memorized. I begin by understanding the student’s current skill level, learning habits, and musical goals.

I use real-life examples and simple case studies from everyday practice. Breathing techniques are explained using natural breathing patterns, and tone quality is compared to clear and controlled speech. These examples help students connect easily with flute playing.

Understanding is always my main focus. I explain each technique slowly and clearly, ensuring students know the purpose behind every exercise. Communication is open and friendly, allowing students to ask questions freely and share difficulties.

Integrity is an important value in my teaching. I give honest feedback and realistic guidance without pressure. I focus on steady improvement and proper technique. Progress is reviewed regularly to keep students motivated and confident.

Along with flute, I teach supporting subjects such as music theory, rhythm practice, sight reading, scale exercises, and basic performance skills. My goal is to help students build strong fundamentals and enjoy learning music.
