About Alexander
I am currently a Brewer at Blue Note Brewing company in Woodland, CA. My wife is a PhD student at UC Davis. We moved out here for graduate school where I got my masters in Viticulture and Enology. I was a Biochemistry undergrad with a Microbiology minor. My master's thesis was with yeast and bacteria.

I try to focus my teaching on what the students need to learn, want to learn, and are currently weak at. I try to explain things contextually, giving analogies. I like feedback and I enjoy back and forth to work out a problem instead of just telling you what you need to know.
