About Harshit

Hi, I'm Harshit, a Stellar Astrophysics PhD student at Macquarie University with multiple discoveries to my name, and I have over 7+ years of professional teaching experience in astrophysics and astronomy. As an expert astronomer, I have also authored a famous book on astronomy which has been published worldwide in 150+ countries.

In addition to my expertise as an astrophysics teacher with 7+ years of experience, I have contributed to numerous publications and studies in the field. I also taught for more than 2 years at the Galileo Multiverse Online School (International Astronomy School). My research work has consistently led to papers published in reputed international journals, and I have made several contributions to the field of stellar astrophysics, with some of my discoveries even being featured in local newspapers (Like TOI, Hindu, etc.). I have worked with students from diverse backgrounds and academic levels, helping them develop confidence in physics and astronomy while building strong analytical thinking skills. I have also taught students internationally, which has given me strong experience in inclusive teaching approaches. In addition to my academic work, I am also a musician and producer with expertise in guitar and other instruments, something that brings calmness and creativity into my teaching style. I am a full-time astrophysicist (a scientist/researcher) now, but my love for teaching and guiding young aspiring astronomers continues — so here I am.

About the lesson

With over 7+ years of teaching experience in astronomy, astrophysics, and physics, my lessons are designed to make complex scientific ideas intuitive, engaging, and accessible for students of all backgrounds from complete beginners to advanced university learners.

I teach using real astrophysical examples, visual explanations, and creative analogies (sometimes even inspired by music and everyday experiences), I help students truly understand how the universe works. Lessons are personalised to each student’s goals, whether that means improving grades, preparing for exams, strengthening mathematical foundations, or exploring astronomy out of curiosity.

Alongside teaching, I am an active researcher with published scientific papers and multiple contributions and discoveries in stellar astrophysics. I have also taught internationally and authored a famous astronomy book which has been published worldwide in over 150 countries. So I can also teach and help with technical academic writing.

My research experience allows me to bring real scientific thinking into lessons, giving students insight beyond textbooks. I aim to create a supportive and motivating learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing confidence. My goal is not only to help you succeed academically, but also to inspire curiosity about the universe and develop long-term problem-solving skills.
