• Do you speak this language fluently because of your origins or because a teacher inspired you to learn?

  I am a native Spanish speaker. I was born and raised in Argentina. However, I lived in many countries, so I speak a neutral Spanish language.

• Can you name a living, historical or fictional character that you think is the emblematic representative of the language's culture?

  Gabriel Garcia Marquez. Have you heard about him? You definitely should read one of his novels!

• Is there a typical word, phrase, tradition or behaviour in the language that you particularly like?

  In Argentina, we love drinking "mate", is like a herbal tea

• Why does speaking this language matter to you?

  It's my native language, and is spoken in many countries... is a way of connecting with other people

• What is the main difficulty in learning this language and what can help the process of learning?

  Everyone has different challenges, so I won't say there is "a main difficulty". As any other language, it could be tricky to translate English to Spanish. However, once you are immersed in the language that difficulty disappears. Something that can help the process of learning, is to practise often, don't give up, and find your inner motivation.

• How has travel or a specific trip helped you to increase your skill and knowledge of the language?

  There are many countries where people speak Spanish, each country has their culture and traditions. I have traveled to several of them, being aware of the different use of the language, slang, words and specific culture.

• What makes you a Superprof in language?

  I create classes for each student, based on their interests and motivations. I love meeting people from different cultures, and learning from them.
