About Jonathan
Soy un hispanohablante de 33 años con estudios de pedagogía y más de 8 años de experiencia docente. Soy de Colombia y acabo de llegar a Halifax. Quiero enseñar inglés a las personas que viven aquí y necesitan mejorar sus habilidades lingüísticas. Además, quiero conocer gente diferente y su cultura. ¡Vamos a divertirnos mientras aprendemos inglés!
I'm a 33-year-old Spanish speaker with teaching pedagogy studies and more than 8 years of teaching experience. I'm from Colombia and I've just arrived at Halifax. I want to teach English to people who live here and need to improve their language skills. Also, I want to know different people and their culture. Let's have some fun while learning English!!

Mis clases son lecciones comunicativas centradas en el uso y el vocabulario (sin dejar de lado la gramática). Considero que el contenido de la lección depende profundamente de los objetivos del estudiante, ya que para que una persona aprenda mejor, los temas tienen que estar relacionados con sus objetivos/vida/experiencias.
My lessons are communicative lessons focused on usage and vocabulary (not leaving grammar aside). I consider that the content of the lesson deeply depends on the student's goals, as for a person to learn better, the topics need to be related to their goals/life/experiences.
