About Abhinav

I am thrilled to present myself as a music teacher with over 8 years of experience. As a dedicated and passionate singer and a guitar player, I have had the privilege of teaching individuals of all ages and skill levels.

My approach to teaching is based on patience, understanding, and a commitment to excellence. I believe that every student is unique, and therefore, I tailor my lessons to meet their individual needs and goals.

Whether you're a beginner or an advanced player, I will work with you to develop a personalized curriculum that will help you reach your full potential as a musician.

My teaching style is centered around developing solid fundamentals while also encouraging creativity and self-expression. I emphasize the importance of proper technique and music theory while also encouraging my students to explore their own unique musical interests and styles.

In addition to teaching, I am also an active performer & an original singer/songwriter. This experience has given me valuable insights into the inner workings of the music industry, and I am always eager to share this knowledge with my students.

As a music teacher, my ultimate goal is to inspire and empower my students to achieve their musical aspirations.

Whether you're looking to become a professional musician or just want to learn how to sing and play your favorite songs, I am confident that I can help you reach your goals.

About the lesson

In this class, students will first learn the fundamentals of playing the guitar, including proper technique for fretting, strumming, and picking, as well as music theory concepts such as chords, scales, and rhythm.

If the student is thorough with the basics, we will be moving ahead with advanced material.

Students will have the opportunity to explore a variety of musical genres and styles, from rock to blues to jazz. We will focus on developing a repertoire of songs that highlights each student's unique musical interests and abilities.

I will also provide constructive feedback and guidance to help students improve their playing skills.

As the class goes on, students will have a solid foundation in guitar techniques and a diverse repertoire of songs to draw from.

Prerequisites: None. This class is open to students of all levels, from beginners to advanced players. Anyone wanting to learn to play the guitar can join the class, and trust me, even YOU can learn to Play the Guitar!

I came across the kids from a very Musical family. Teaching 4 of them ranging from 11 to 17 years, and they are catching up things really fast. With consistent practice, things are steadily going to go in the right direction.

In most teacher student paradigms; the teacher comes, gives you a bunch of input, you go home, practice then spit out. Classic input and output chain.

When you can't do it most of 'em will say, "You gotta grind hard!!", "what's wrong with you? ", "I've told this like a hundred times, be attentive!!" etc etc

At the end of the day. It's not fair to assume that someone can't do it but finding out why they can't do it. What's stopping them, their kryptonite...

And, to do so one gotta care about the mentees that look up to them and a little coloring outside the lines.

I only had two such teachers in my life whom I owe a lot of things.

And, Abhinav is one of them. I honestly have never seen anyone so positive, polite and upbeat in my entire life and I get humbled everyday.

It's been a month and I kind of suck to be honest but I've a feeling that John Mayer song is not so far. Me and my dude, we'll jam on that!!
