About Rachelle
Hi, I’m Rachelle! Reading can be a chore if you do not use the right techniques and it is not about drilling! Reading can be fun, flexible and I can scaffold you to become a better reader. I do one-to-one tutoring, so I can listen to your pronunciation clearly and adjust the lesson to your pace. Relax, I’m nice and patient!

I only teach reading one-to-one. I am patient and will cater to your child’s need as I do not do blanket teaching. Reading can be simple with the right technique.
I generally teach children as young as 4+(as long as they know how to recognise ABC and know the phonetic sound).
I have a Master in Education and have been in the education field for more than a decade. In my full time job, I train teachers to become better teachers (:
Lesson generally last an hour to 1.5h. Duration has to be further discussed as different child has different attention span.
