About Lucas

Private English Tutor – Conversation & Vocabulary

Hello! I’m Lucas, a professional and passionate English tutor dedicated to helping students speak confidently and expand their vocabulary. I speak three languages fluently and am currently learning French, which gives me insight into the challenges of language learning and allows me to connect with students from diverse backgrounds.

I provide structured, personalized lessons that focus on:

Practical conversation for real-life situations

Vocabulary building with clear examples

Role play and guided discussion to reinforce new words

Feedback and review to ensure progress

I pride myself on creating a friendly, supportive, and professional environment, where students feel comfortable making mistakes, practicing freely, and improving steadily. My approach is interactive, practical, and tailored to each student’s goals, whether beginner, intermediate, or advanced.

Let’s work together to boost your fluency, confidence, and communication skills in English!

About the lesson

My Approach as an English Tutor

Teaching Methodology and Techniques:
I focus on interactive, student-centered learning. Each lesson combines conversation practice, vocabulary expansion, and practical application. I use real-life topics, role play, and engaging exercises to make learning meaningful and memorable. I also adapt lessons to each student’s level, pace, and personal goals.

Typical Lesson Plan:

Warm up (5–10 min): Casual conversation to practice speaking and set the tone.

Vocabulary Focus (10–15 min): Introduce new words and phrases, with examples and exercises.

Guided Conversation (15–20 min): Practice using new vocabulary in dialogue or role-play situations.

Feedback & Recap (5–10 min): Correct errors gently, reinforce new words, and assign optional practice tasks.

What Sets Me Apart:

I prioritize practical use over memorization, helping students actually speak confidently.

I create customized lessons based on each student’s interests and learning style.

I provide a friendly, supportive environment where mistakes are part of learning.

Who the Lessons Are For:

Learners of all levels, from beginners to advanced.

Students who want to improve conversation, fluency, and vocabulary.

Professionals, students, or anyone looking to practice English in real-life contexts.

Before I started learning with Lucas, I was honestly very afraid of speaking English. I would feel nervous, overthink every word, and sometimes avoid speaking at all because I didn’t want to make mistakes. Lucas completely changed that for me. From the very first lesson :) Thank you!!!
