About Stef

I am passionate about youth mental health and supporting young people (and people of all ages) through teaching. I love helping students learn and helping them improve. My favourite parts of teaching are supporting students to reach their academic goals, understand difficult concepts, enjoy subjects they did not think they could enjoy and improve academic writing skills. I also love to share my passion for psychology, essay writing, and English.

APPROACH TO TEACHING:

I tailor material to the individual needs of my students. By focusing on specific problem areas, I can help spark interest and engage students in learning, and more effectively help them reach their goals. I have experience supporting students already achieving top grades to improve even further, as well as students who are struggling, who I help reach their goals and achieve success.

I particularly enjoy providing written and verbal feedback on essays, theses and lab reports.

I can support students to:
- Develop excellent essay writing skills.
- Develop excellent scientific writing skills (lab reports, APA formatting, etc).
- Learn difficult content.

- First place in English (Higher Level) and History (Route 1 Higher Level)

AVAILABILITY:

I am available 7 days a week.
