About Romina
Hi! My name is Romina, and I am an incoming sophomore at Princeton University studying molecular biology. I have more than 500 hours of tutoring experience with students from my community in a broad range of subjects (math, physics, chemistry, English, and geography).
I received a score of 1560 on the SAT and 5s on the following Advanced Placement exams: Biology, Chemistry, Physics 1, Physics 2, Physics C (Mechanics and Electricity & Magnetism), Calculus BC, Statistics, Seminar, Research, Human Geography, German, and English Literature.

Hi! My name is Romina, and I love to share my love of learning with fellow students. As your tutor, I will be with you every step of the way as you encounter challenges and aim to achieve your academic goals. I have more than 500 hours of tutoring experience with students ranging from fifth grade to college, and I am confident that I will be able to help you, too!
I can help with mathematics (algebra, geometry, trigonometry, pre-calculus), SAT prep, and a wide range of sciences (chemistry, biology, and physics). I am also able to help students review their college essays.
My general tutoring strategy for math and science is to first walk through the topic with students and complete some practice problems together. Then, I allow the students to tackle practice problems by themselves. This way, students develop self-confidence and realize just how far they have come!
