About Rowan
I'm a teacher who truly believes in the power of having fun whilst learning. Extra tuition shouldn't be seen as a chore but as an opportunity to find the love of learning.
I am a patient, kind and considerate person; who understands that we all work in different ways and it's about finding out what makes us tick.

My lessons are always centralised around the needs of the child, either based on previous learning or what might be coming up at school.
Lessons are interactive with a variety of resources, games and activities (some that can be shared with families to continue the fun, and learning).
I tutored for 3 years in England, supporting a number of families with a range of needs. This included maths (strategies, times tables, extra support with class learning), spellings, reading skills, creative writing and ESOL.
My lessons are aimed at primary school aged children (6-12 year olds). I can tailor lessons for children who need to accelerate their learning, or to extend high achievers.
