About Jaye
Hi, I’m Jaye! I’m an experienced Teaching Assistant and tutor specialising in primary subjects, SEN support, and performing arts. I support children with English, Maths, Phonics, and confidence-building, as well as students preparing for Drama GCSE/A-Level, Performing Arts GCSE/A-Level, and drama school auditions. I’m also a professional actor, having graduated from the London School of Musical Theatre in 2020, and I bring this creative and performance-based experience into my tutoring to make lessons engaging and motivating. My goal is to create structured, personalised, and supportive lessons that help students progress academically or creatively while building confidence and independence.

In my lessons, children work in a calm, structured, and supportive environment. I cover English, Maths, Phonics, and provide SEN support including speech and language interventions. Lessons are tailored to each child’s needs and pace, with a mix of structured exercises and creative, confidence-building activities from my drama and musical theatre background. Each session aims to build knowledge, independence, and enjoyment of learning
I also offer guidance for Drama GCSE/A-Level, Performing Arts GCSE/A-Level, and drama school audition preparation, helping students with performance skills, exam preparation, coursework, and confidence in practical assessments. Lessons are tailored to the student’s needs, using my musical theatre background to make learning engaging and motivating.
