I am a primary school teacher who has been teaching in mainstream schools for 5 years. I love my job and seeing those ‘ah ha’ moments that students have. Building strong relationships with students and having high expectations for students is also something that is very important to me.

When working with students I try to make the learning based on their interests to keep them engaged. I also work to meet the student where they are at and support them in what they need help with. When teaching I provide a lot of support and use a lot of repetition as well to support with multiple exposures.
