I am a primary school teacher with four years teaching experience and one year private tutoring experience. I have been tutoring children from ages 4-11 in maths, reading, Phonics and for the 11+ exams. I have a PGCE in Primary Education.

My teaching method is to assess a pupil's current knowledge in a subject through formative assessment and then base lessons on any gaps in the curriculum. I like to plan lessons that enthuse my pupil's and excite their curiosity. I also make sure they understand that it is fine to make mistakes as mistakes are a sign that they are learning.
