I have 12 years experience in Primary Schools teaching a range of subjects from year 3 to year 6 (including SATs). I Also have a Maths Specialist teacher post-graduate qualification and have tutored several children before and still do.

My teaching method is always to ensure conceptual understanding as opposed to just procedural knowledge and I use a CPA approach. Also, I ensure that children can apply their knowledge in a range of situations, both familiar and unfamiliar.
