About Emma

I am currently in the second year of my masters in primary education in Mary Immaculate College. I graduated from my undergraduate degree in 2023 from Mary Immaculate college with a BA in Gaeilge and Psychology. I have experience working in both primary and secondary schools, English speaking and Gaelscoileanna. Teaching has always been my dream profession, I have been teaching English/ Irish and Maths lessons to primary students for the past 3 years.

About the lesson

I have always had a love for English as a subject area. I have extensive experience working with students of all ages and levels in primary education. I have experience working in a SET role with students with additional learning needs in the area of English. In my lessons I use a mixture of hands on activities and ICT resources to make lessons as enjoyable and engaging as possible. I get a real sense of joy seeing my students achieve their goals and becoming more confident in their learning.
