So you want to know a little more about me?

I have completed 3 science-related University Degrees:

1. Bachelor of Biomedical Science - GPA 6.5 (organic chemistry was my weakness!)
2. Honours degree in Neurogenetics (completed while doing my undergraduate degree) - resulted in a Class I Honours, GPA 7.0

FAQ: How did you complete two university degree's at the same time in only 3 years by the age of 19? Time management and by mastering the art of studying (hint, you don't need to know/memorise everything little thing they teach you!)

3. Doctor of Philosophy aka PhD in Molecular Medicine, GPA 7.0. I completed this degree in 3 years too while working part-time as a research assistant, diagnostic clinic coordinator and university tutor/lecturer. I've travelled to various academic conferences (national and international) and worked on many committees organising research events and educational workshops. My thesis is published and I have also published 9 peer-reviewed manuscripts in internationally recognised scientific journals.

I left academia and went into sales for 2-years where my job was essentially to educate clinical, research and education institutions on the latest technologies and significant advances being made in their field. My portfolio was quite broad and required sound scientific knowledge in the following areas: Biochemistry, haematology, histology, immunology, infectious disease, life science, molecular genetics, and medical simulation.

I have since left sales and am studying a Masters in Teaching.

About the lesson

I have experience in teaching primary school students, high school students, university students, research staff, diagnostic staff and hospital/clinical staff. Your age, prior knowledge, education level or experience is completely irrelevant to me. Each lesson will be structured around your realistic goals and expectations and the timeframe required to achieve said goals. If you know your preferred learning style, I am more then happy to organise any teaching material using that preferred mode; if you don't know your learning style, we can spend some time figuring out what method is best for you.
