About Aylin
I'm a screenwriter and Media student working part-time in a pharmacy so I have experience in both English and regularly interacting with kids and parents to make them as comfortable as possible! I have worked in the past with young people struggling with behavioural issues in school and helped them with homework each week. I have dyslexic-friendly resources and am extremely familiar with ADHD so I use various teaching methods for SEND students!
I did 1 year of A-Level English Language (A*). I achieved grades 8/9 (A*) for both GCSE English Language and English Literature.
My lessons are a safe space for each student to do their best. I make sure that students feel comfortable from the very first lesson, and I am very understanding when it comes to problems with focusing, a shy student or anxiety.
I will do my best to help students if they struggle with confidence or communication and encourage them to feel comfortable enough to ask questions!
We can also take breaks during lessons if your child struggles with concentration! I've been told I'm very good at simplifying concepts that kids might find hard to understand, and I hope to inspire the kids to enjoy English as much I do.

- Each session is 1 hour.
- Study breaks if the student requires any.
- The first free session will be spent getting to know the student, their strengths and weaknesses. Every child learns differently, so this lesson will be spent finding the most effective method of learning for your child. This could be worksheets, tests, quizzes, visual, auditory, kinesthetic, read/write, games etc. It will help me plan the lessons in advance.
Parent/guardian can request for extra homework (this will be done by email for parents to print at home)
