About Shefa
From a young age, I knew I wanted to help children learn and grow. I was inspired by teachers who believed in me and sparked my passion for education. That same motivation drives my tutoring today—to build confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning in every child. As a qualified primary teacher with experience across Early Years, KS1, and KS2, I tailor each session to individual needs, helping pupils overcome challenges and reach their full potential. I find great joy in seeing children progress, gain independence, and take pride in their achievements through engaging, supportive, and personalised tutoring.

I provide engaging, 60-minute lessons tailored to each child’s needs, covering core and foundation subjects in line with the KS1 and KS2 National Curriculum. My teaching approach combines modelling, guided practice, and interactive activities to build confidence, develop understanding, and encourage independent learning. I regularly assess progress to identify gaps and set clear targets. My sessions support children aged 5–11, including those needing extra help or stretch and challenge, with proven success in improving fluency, times tables, and overall academic performance.
