About Madison
I'm a young, fun and passionate tutor named Maddy. From a young age I have always loved writing and reading. Although in college I found that I struggled quite a bit as NCEA approached. Until I found a teacher who re-inspired me and pushed my skills to their highest, in an enjoyable way. I had learnt so much to do with English as a whole, as well as how to enjoy it. This led to me being an Excellence endorsed student in English. I currently work with kids at the moment and truly love it. It would be an honor to be able to combine my love of English and mentoring kids together and help to ensure that each child's individual and unique learning goals are met in an inspiring way.

I tailor each lesson to suit the student’s unique learning style and goals. Lessons are interactive, combining fun activities with structured teaching to build confidence in reading, writing, and English comprehension. Sessions are typically 60 minutes, balancing practice and discussion. My lessons cater to young learners mastering the basics through to high school students preparing for NCEA English.
