I provide CV Preparation and Interview Coaching for non-native speakers of English with a minimum of B2 level English.
Conducting an interview in a language which is not your mother tongue can be stressful at the best of times. In my lessons, I coach students on how to stand out in an interview. I help students to prepare outstanding responses to interview questions. I share useful tips on what interviewers are looking for and what not to do in an interview.
Successful interviews require practice. I give students the opportunity to practice their interview answers in a mock interview scenario, giving them constructive feedback after each lesson. This also gives students a huge confidence boost which helps them to feel more relaxed in the interview.
During our initial communication, we discuss the needs of the student and decide on a plan of action. Some students only require one or two lessons before an interview. For others who are actively looking for work, we organise weekly or bi-weekly lessons.
As a language learner I can relate to the struggles of language students. In the past, students have found my knowledge of Spanish, French and Korean to be very helpful.
