• When did you start practicing? How did this passion find you?

  My passion found me when I was a kid. I remember that day as it was yesterday: I was seven y.o. and my dad brought that big wood board and all those wood figures that attracted me at once. He showed me some basics and strategies that he had been really good at and I really enjoyed;)

• Which artists or works affect you the most?

  When I started attending a special chess club, there were lots of portraits of world famous players. Since that time, I started not only recognizing the person, but also his key strategy and favorite openings. These people, who affected my way as a chess player were Alexander Alekhine, Max Euwe, Bobby Fischer and especially Mikhail Botvinnik. In my professional career as a succesful player my inspiration were Pavel Eljanov, Veselin Topalov, Viswanathan Anand and of course Magnus Carlsen.

• What are the qualities and skills required to succeed in this area?

  Honestly, the only skill to be really successful in chess is the ability to work hard and the right coach next to you:) If you have a right person next to you who really wanna teach you and share his experience and you are a great team together - then obviously you`ll reach your goal in chess, no doubts.

• What is the most valuable advice you can give to help someone stay focused on creative projects?

  Be yourself, work hard and don`t be afraid of asking and doing silly things. Don`t try to be a standard of society, just be unique.

• How would you describe your passion; how does it make you feel?

  I`m really passioned about coaching. I used to be a top player when I was a teenager, cause I became a National Master at the age of just 15. Now I feel like I wanna transform all those knowledge and my own experience into something huge and powerful, not just a boring class but something that will help you being motivated, smart and popular.

• What creative achievements are you particularly proud of?

  Generally, I`m proud of myself, cause I reached global results just for 5 years of active playing. I`m titled, I have FIDE rating and I have different awards from city, regional, national and of course worldwide championships. My main achievement is my coaching results, cause I have transformed lives of hundreds of people, their way of thinking and their approach to life and business.

• Have you ever been surprised by a student; by their ability or quick progression?

  I`m a happy coach, because my students are beautiful and talented people. And of course, I`m surprised of quick progress of my students, cause when a kid is just 6 y.o., you don't expect much from him. However, my student solves combinations and discuss positions like an adult, it`s stunning!

• Being a Superprof is an art! What is your secret?

  My main secret and my power is being yourself:) Creating the comfortable and friendly atmosphere let your students feel themselves like talking with friends and enjoying the process.
