About Karen
I'm an ASU Alumni who majored in Medical Laboratory Science and Medical Studies. I have over 4 years of tutoring experience from elementary math to high school/college math. I've also taken too many science classes to count. The way I learn in school is by understanding the information like I need to teach it to someone, so I am detail orientated and thorough with my explanations. I've worked as a peer academic leader for 3.5 years to mentor college students and I worked as a behavioral technician shortly. I enjoy working with students of all ages. My favorite part of tutoring is understanding how my students learn best and catering my lessons to them. I can create my own materials to tutor on a specific topic, or we can work through homework problems together.
