About Sarah
I’ve taken advanced math and science courses, including AP Precalculus, so I know what it feels like when a topic just doesn’t click at first and what actually helps it finally make sense. When I tutor, I focus less on memorizing steps and more on helping students understand why things work, so they can solve problems even when the format changes.
My approach is patient, straightforward, and interactive. I like to slow things down, break problems into simple parts, and use examples that actually make sense instead of just repeating textbook explanations. I also encourage students to talk through their thinking so we can spot exactly where confusion starts.
Most importantly, I aim to create a space where students don’t feel embarrassed for not understanding something right away. My goal isn’t just better grades it’s helping students feel more confident walking into class, attempting problems on their own, and trusting their ability to learn new material.

I teach math and science by breaking difficult topics into simple, understandable steps without making students feel overwhelmed. My lessons usually start with reviewing confusing concepts, then practicing problems together until students feel confident doing them independently. Having taken AP Precalculus myself, I understand common struggles and explain concepts in a relatable, patient, and encouraging way for middle and high school students.
