About Joerizza
I am currently studying a Bachelor of Primary Education at Central Queensland University while working in a school setting. My role primarily involves supporting students who require additional learning assistance, which has given me valuable experience in differentiating instruction and building student confidence.
I chose tutoring because I am passionate about helping students feel capable and supported in their learning journey. I understand that every child learns differently, and I enjoy adapting my approach to suit each individual student’s needs.
Seeing students grow in both confidence and ability is incredibly rewarding to me, and I strive to create a positive, encouraging space where students feel comfortable asking questions and challenging themselves.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s individual learning style, strengths and areas for growth. I begin by identifying gaps in understanding and building strong foundational skills before moving into more complex content.
I prioritize creating a calm, supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. As someone who works closely with students requiring additional support, I understand that confidence plays a huge role in academic success.
Sessions are structured and goal-oriented, whether we are preparing for assessments, strengthening core skills, or completing homework. I use clear explanations, guided practice and gradual release to help students become more independent and capable learners over time.
My aim is not just to improve grades, but to help students feel confident and motivated in their learning.
