About Amaya

I study pre-primary education in English in Madrid, but I currently live in Santander. I am in my third year of career and I try to apply all the techniques and methodologies that I consider that have previously worked for me; considering that each child has an individualised way and way of learning. I have given private classes to primary and early childhood education children. I have taken care of children for longer periods and I have also done three months of internship at a pre-school in Finland, as well as an Erasmus at the University of Oulu, Finland, for 5 months.
I have training with a professor from the University of Chicago, Robert Swartz, on Thinking Based Learning; after having attended a 40-hour seminar with himself. During all this time I have been able to discover and know that each child needs some things and that it is necessary to work based on the capacities and needs of each one. I enjoy being with children and I consider that they are the great potential of this society, so their education is the basic pillar to build our future.

About the lesson

I do not have an established teaching method, but I do not like children to study without understanding what they study. I do not mind spending hours, if that pays off. It is more effective to understand than to memorize, and I like that my method is based on that. I believe that learning must also be based on trust between teacher / student and that this leads to creating a link that improves both the teaching and learning processes.

A mi hija la dio clases de ingles cuando solo Amaya solo tenía 17 años y con esa ilusión que le pone a todo tengo una aventurera en Alemania .
