About Amitav
I am currently a student at Western University in my fourth year of studying Medical Sciences. I love biology, chemistry and physics and have excelled in all of these courses as part of my program requirements. I love teaching and have tutored all these courses before!
I have excelled in University so far, achieving a GPA of 3.9 during my time here. I have also written the MCAT and achieved a score at the 95th percentile, performing well in all sections.

I believe in a personalized approach to teaching, so I like to give diagnostic tests to gauge students abilities, skills and weaknesses before starting on teaching. I also believe in a student-led teaching style in which the student guides me through the work they are doing and we work through problems together, in order to maximize self study habits which are so crucial in university.
