About Mahi
I am a fourth-year undergraduate student in a pre-law program, and I have always been strong in English and academic writing. Over the years, I have supported classmates, friends, and family with essay writing, editing, thesis preparation, and understanding complex readings from middle school through to university.
I am a patient person and I take the time to explain concepts in a calm and clear way so students can actually understand what they are learning. I do not just focus on improving grades, I also focus on helping students build skills they can use throughout their academic journey.
My goal is to help students become confident and independent in their writing so they eventually feel like they do not need a tutor anymore and can fully understand the material on their own.

My teaching style is pretty simple and flexible. I just adjust based on what you need help with and how you learn best so the lesson actually works for you.
Usually in a lesson, we start with whatever you’re working on, like an essay, assignment, or reading. Then I try to figure out where you’re stuck or what’s confusing, and we go through it together. If it’s essay writing, I help you build your ideas into a strong thesis using your own thoughts. I do not write it for you, but I help you shape it properly.
When it comes to writing, we go through it step by step, usually paragraph by paragraph. I give feedback, ask questions, and explain what can be improved so you actually understand it and can do it on your own next time.
