About Lila
I am a mathematics tutor with more than 7 years of experience and an MSc in Mathematical Finance. I work primarily with students studying higher mathematics. My lessons focus on thinking mathematically, not just calculating.
Logic and proof writing are central to every session. In group theory, we study permutations and symmetry groups to understand structure. Ring theory lessons explore polynomials, divisibility, and algebraic systems in a connected way. For topology, I introduce intuitive notions of closeness and continuity before formal definitions appear. Students engage in guided discussions to build conceptual understanding. I regularly tutor university students and those pursuing pure mathematics degrees.
