About Sandrine

I enjoy teaching with interest and pleasure, which I've been doing in Vanuatu for 30 years, with students of all nationalities (island children, Ni-Vanuatu, New Zealanders, Australians, Canadians, English, Filipinos, Koreans, Chinese, Japanese, etc.). I also like to vary my lessons by dividing the hour into three or four fun and practical activities, combining the useful with the enjoyable.
But above all I like to share my culture and discuss topical or popular subjects. French is a language with its own grammar and spelling, but it's also a way of cooking, dressing and baking. So I'd really like to share this French touch with my students!
I have a knack for creating engaging and interactive lesson plans that cater to the needs and interests of my students. I use a variety of resources and materials, such as books, videos, games, and songs, to make learning fun and effective. I also incorporates cultural elements into my teaching, such as literature, art, music, and cooking, to expose my students to the richness and diversity of the Francophone world.

About the lesson

I'm postgraduated of a bachelor's degree at level 7 in France , which is a diploma of higher studies in Primary School Teaching. I have taught from 3 to 5 years old students to year six for over 25 years, and I taught French as a second language to children and adults for a few years at the Alliance française in Port-Vila in Vanuatu. NZQA certified my qualifications. I'd like to teach my language according to the needs of each student, with love, joy and fun. I have a knack for creating engaging and interactive lesson plans that meet the needs and interests of my students. Indeed, I use a variety of resources and materials, such as books, videos, games, and songs, to make learning fun and effective. I also incorporates cultural elements into my teaching, such as literature, art, music, and cooking, expose my students to the richness and diversity of the French world.
I can also help with any homework as I am a primary schools teacher.
Lessons take place in Taupo, at my home or at yours, within a maximum radius of 80 km. Or even online, on Zoom or Messenger.
