My background is strongly multidisciplinary and I have experience in teaching and research.
Born and raised in Bordeaux, I then moved to Paris for my undergrad and used to live in the UK, Belgium and the US. I am a French native speaker and am fluent in English. I also speak German and am currently learning Italian and Farsi/Persian.

I have been giving formal & informal private lessons in social sciences, history and languages to young kids, students and adults for the past 5 years, mostly in France (Paris and Bordeaux) and I used to do volunteer tutoring every week in high school.
I like to start by listening to my student (and their parents if relevant) to try and map their needs and adapt my teaching. Depending on my student's expectations and their level, or if they have to prepare exams, I will put the emphasis on what is more relevant to them.
I work with a variety of materials (books, articles, textbooks). Most importantly, I believe that tutoring in social science is about having a constant discussion about the concepts and a strong understanding of case studies. I closely monitor the evolution of my students and I can reevaluate my methodology. Moreover, I can offer proofreading and editing services.
