About Georgia
I am a postgraduate student, recently completing a Masters in Global History. With a diverse and broad interest in social, cultural and political history my modules at university have included protest and democracy, Modern American history, South East Asian Studies and much more. I have experience whilst working at university as a personal tutor to several A-Level and GCSE students, a lead mentor in local schools and I have also worked on many STEM and Social Science learning support days. In all of these roles I have provided support varying from specialist subject content tutoring to general study, revision, written and verbal ability skills. In all of these roles I received regular written and verbal feedback from school co-ordinators and students themselves that their grades and attitude to learning thanks to our creative and exciting sessions had improved, included one of my mentees resubmitting a piece of English work that went from a D to an A!
