About Jady
Hello! I am a bilingual tutor studying a Master of Dietetics at Monash University, with a strong academic background and a passion for education. I have several years of experience tutoring primary and secondary students, helping them build confidence, improve their academic performance, and develop effective study habits.
As a native Cantonese speaker and fluent in Mandarin and English, I am able to support students from diverse backgrounds and tailor my teaching to suit individual learning needs. My tutoring approach is student-centered, supportive, and engaging. I tailor each lesson to the student’s level, learning style, and school requirements, ensuring steady progress while building confidence in using Chinese.
I use a combination of techniques including interactive speaking practice, structured grammar explanation, vocabulary building, and reading comprehension. I incorporate engaging activities and repetition to reinforce learning, and focus on exam strategies, writing skills, and oral preparation. I also provide personalized notes and practice materials to support revision outside of class.
A typical lesson runs for 60-75 minutes, longer sessions can be arranged depending on the student’s needs. Lessons usually include a review of previous content, introduction of new material, guided practice, and feedback.
I am a student of Master of Dietetics at Monash University with extensive tutoring experience working with primary and secondary students. I have supported students with homework, exam preparation, and personalized study plans, while maintaining regular communication with parents.
