About Jessica
I am a passionate Zoologist (with a PhD) who enjoys helping others succeed in academic endeavors (schooling or university). I have great experience in tutoring Zoology based subjects (including Science and Biology) to undergraduate students and I have also been a high school Maths tutor. Additionally, I have successfully supervised the research projects of both undergraduate and postgraduate students. As a compassionate, patient and friendly individual I believe I can help struggling students achieve their academic goals.

Understanding science does not come naturally for everyone and there are several approaches to teaching science. As such, my goal is to adapt my teaching style (e.g. hands on, visual clues, thinking maps, context based etc.) to the specific needs of each student in order to help them understand how science works and how it impacts their lives.
