About Shannu Tasmiya
Hello, I’m Tasmiya, an MSc graduate with years of experience as both a middle school teacher and a college professor. Throughout my teaching journey, I’ve had the privilege of working with students at different stages of learning, and I’ve come to understand how powerful the English language can be when taught with clarity and purpose. I’m deeply passionate about sharing my knowledge because I believe that language opens doors — to confidence, to opportunity, and to connection. My approach to teaching English goes beyond traditional methods. I focus on phonetic reading and pronunciation to build a strong foundation in spoken English, while also encouraging creative and structured writing. Each student is different, and I adapt my methods to suit individual learning styles. By connecting reading, speaking, and writing in a natural, practical way, I help students gain confidence and fluency in everyday communication.
