I am an MRes candidate in philosophy, currently writing a thesis in the philosophy of mind and metaphysics. I finished my BA in 2020 and my BPhil year in 2021, and have experience mentoring undergraduates in philosophy on how to write a good philosophy paper.

Philosophy is unlike a lot of other disciplines. You are not studying to demonstrate that you have absorbed prescribed information or a set of facts. You are studying to think critically and logically, in order to question assumptions and make your own arguments on a whole range of issues, practical, social, ethical and scientific. I will help you adopt the 'philosophical mindset', think through the topic you are studying, and develop the critical skills needed write a good philosophy paper.
