I start by doing some brainstorming with the kids in regard to the topic by taking some real life examples, making them more confident and easy on the topic . Ones kids are confident then I prefer introducing the topic by connecting the dots of their knowledge and understanding. This keeps the class more interactive and interesting. My lesson plans are more pictorial and with easy calculative tricks for up to grade 8 students.
