About Maryam
Hi! I’m a passionate and supportive tutor. I teach Mathematics, Biology, and Social Sciences to students from middle school to high school, and I bring both strong academic performance and real understanding of student challenges into my teaching. I achieved a perfect score in SAT Math and consistently earned A grades throughout my math coursework. I’ve also worked as a peer tutor, supporting students who felt stuck, anxious, or unsure of where to begin. Because I’ve been in your position and worked closely with learners at different levels, I understand how overwhelming certain subjects especially math and science can feel. My approach is patient, encouraging, and clarity-focused. I don’t just teach formulas or facts; I help you actually understand the concepts so you can apply them confidently in class and exams. My goal is to meet you exactly where you are, identify what’s holding you back, and guide you step-by-step toward improvement and confidence. If you feel lost, behind, or discouraged, I’m here to support you. You’re not alone, and together we can make learning feel manageable and even enjoyable.

I specialize in helping learners build confidence and truly understand what they’re studying. My approach is student-centered and clarity-focused. I take time to understand how you think and learn, then explain concepts in simple, intuitive steps using real-life examples, visuals, and structured guidance. I focus on concept mastery over memorization, so you develop strong foundations you can rely on in exams and beyond.

Each lesson follows a structured but flexible format:
Quick check-in and review of previous concepts
