About Saranya
My name is Saranya and I am going into Sixth Form having completed my GCSES. In secondary school, I have always prioritised my studies which has allowed me to study biology at a great depth and interest. I believe this makes me suitable as a tutor as I know exactly what methods work and how to effectively revise. At school, I always achieved grade 8 or 9 in all of my subjects. Biology is my favourite subject so I often achieved grade 9. Having achieved these grades, I can help students to pick up good habits that enable them to reach for those high grades.

My method of tutoring involves secure understanding of the topic and then proceeding to exam style questions to prepare students for what they will encounter. Should there be any confusion, I will help resolve the problem so students should feel free to reach out to me about any difficulties. My lessons will be 1 hour long and once a week. In this hour I would expect to cover 1 topic in depth with exam practice or 2 topics that need light refreshment. As I have studied AQA triple higher, this allows me to teach both combined and triple students who are higher or foundation (AQA). I aim to help GCSE students achieve the best possible grades using study techniques that have helped me to do so.
