I am a positive and encouraging atmosphere, looking to improve students skills and confidence around their academic goals. As a student myself I know how stressful it can be to produce quality essays and deliver attractive resumes.
For essay writing I provide students with a template, one which I developed myself. It works alongside course rubrics, teaches students how to reference correctly and research efficiently.
I offer two lessons lengths, one at 30 minutes ($20 p/1/2hr) and one at an hour ($35 p/hr). I request for both of these time frames that students supply me with an essay they have written so I may assess their work and create a personalised plan of action in order to achieve their goals.
For Resume writing I offer a one hour lesson ($35 p/hr). Prior to this tutoring session I will send a template which needs to be filled out. This template will contain questions about oneself, their ideal job, their experience, their education etc. I will then transfer this information into a resume template and work with the student to personalise a resume template they can use for all future applications. During this tutoring session I will also teach the student how to write a cover letter for their job application as well.
I am happy to help students/workers of all ages improve their literacy, efficiency and resume writing skills! I work at the University of Adelaide as a freelance tutor in literacy (essay writing, resume writing, editing etc.) and can assist in a few other areas as well. I am about to pass into my Honours Degree in Geophysics, researching extraterrestrial mineral extraction, I have experience in both high school and university level literacy.
