About Ellis
I have been giving lessons and tutoring to students for six years, since my junior year of high school. Helping students learn how to look at a problem, break it down, and develop confidence in themselves and their abilities is my speciality! I have been able to help students bring their grades up by an entire letter over the duration of a semester and love watching them grow in their academic achievements!

I graduated in June with my Bachelor's of Science in Ecology, Behavior and Evolution from University of California San Diego. I believe that math is a subject often viewed with fear or anxiety but it doesn't need to be. There is no such thing as a bad math student, just a bad math explanation! I pride myself on being able to tailor the concept to the individual. I enjoy providing my students with a variety of approaches to find the one that works best for them.
