I mainly use an audio-visual approach, depending on the level of the student. I will focus on the needs of the student such as the vocabulary, pronunciation, speaking, and grammar. I tend to use fun and interactive approaches that enhance the motivation of students and that are handy for the future. E.g. if a student wants to learn basic communication words, they can expect to learn how to introduce themselves, the key words when ordering drinks/meals/taxis, purchasing a train ticket, flight ticket, main temporal forms and so on.

- Marcao was very lovely and eager to learn portugueseMiriam's response :
Perfect! Highly recommended !
Miriam is so patient and calm with her teaching. She also makes the lessons fun and enjoyable. We are so glad we found her.- I think the biggest strength of Elaine is her willingness to learn. It helps the fact that she is familiarised with the language, she know some words and can recognise some vocabulary.Miriam's response :

Miriam gave me Portuguese lessons last year and I enjoyed them so much! She is great at motivating people who are scared of making mistakes in a foreign language and she adapted her lessons to my interests and travel plans. Her lessons are well-structured with enough room to practice. She creates a relaxed, fun atmosphere and I can’t wait to get some more lessons with her soon!
