About Adam

Hello,

I am 20 years old and grew up and lived most of my life in Portugal. Since moving to the UK I'm offering Portuguese language lessons to whoever wants to learn. I can teach personally in Coventry city or online.

About the lesson

Every lesson I teach is completely bespoke - modeled precisely to the needs of the individual student.

I specialise in helping students with whatever their ability is - they will find me comprehensive, challenging and full of helpful advice. My aim is to enable students achieve their goals and to give them genuine confidence in their own abilities.

**ONLINE TUTORING ARRANGEMENTS**

I use Skype, FaceTime and Whatsapp in combination with Word Documents and Google Docs (which is free and easily accessible in most parts of the world) to create a virtual classroom complete with virtual whiteboard. Google Docs is great because it allows both me and the student to view, highlight and amend documents simultaneously, whether it's a poem we're studying together, a digital copy of a play or article, or an essay that the student has written. It's particularly useful for teaching the student how to correct and improve their own writing as it allows changes to be made and removed at the touch of a button while I supervise and offer advice or suggestions. I can see everything they do on the page just as if I were sitting there with them.

- Which other subject(s) do I teach?

English Language, English, Spanish, Portuguese, Creative Writing and Public Speaking. I also proofread and teach essay-writing skills. I teach and do aswell translation work from Spanish or Portuguese and vice versa.

- Where do I teach?

I'm centrally located in Coventry city (UK), at my students’ homes, at a Library or in a cafe if it is quiet enough.

- When am I available?

Every day! I always can find a couple of hours free if needed. Just drop me a message and let me know.
