About Gabrielle

• I have 20 years' experience of teaching Portuguese to professionals, postgraduates, undergraduates and schoolchildren.

• I am graduated in Portuguese Language and Literature and also History.

• In addition to working as a tutor, I've taught in private language schools, universities, secondary and primary schools.

• Lessons typically involve a combination of speaking practice with grammar and vocabulary work.

About the lesson

Specialist in:

* Grammar instruction;

*Developing fluent Portuguese pronunciation skills for all levels of learners and
especially for communicating clearly and confidently over the phone;

*Preparation for and proof reading of Academic or Business related writing tasks;

* Free one hour initial assessment/lesson;

* All levels of learners welcome from complete beginner to advanced and proficiency;

* Any nationality/background;

* SKYPE lessons available with a free 1 hour initial assessment Skype Session. To book a Skype session see details and prices below;

* We will work together on developing a learner program tailored to your specific, individual or group needs. I am happy to work on all areas of second language acquisition;

* Specific or more general business area related vocabulary building and development;

* Grammar, pronunciation, conversation, especially developing pronunciation skills for business telephone calling;

* Improving reading, writing, listening and spelling skills;

* Preparation for and proof reading of academic or business writing tasks;

* Applying for jobs and higher education courses;

I arrange teaching times to suit your schedule, so weekend and evening sessions as well as day-time. Just let me know what days/times suit you best.

We will meet initially at your convenience for a free hour long assessment to check your/the group level and discuss your individual/group needs. After that I usually recommend meeting at least one to two hours a week for a minimum of 8 to 10 weeks to gain any significant improvement, though this is entirely negotiable and subject to your own requirements and availability of course.
