About Gabriela
Hello!
My name is Gabriela, and I'm 24 years old. I was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and currently live in Girona, Catalonia.
I'm a native Brazilian Portuguese speaker with over five years of experience teaching English, Portuguese, and other subjects at the secondary level. I always strive to improve my teaching skills to provide my students with the best possible instruction, sharing my cultural and linguistic background with them.
I currently have my own teaching method and offer private and group classes for all levels of the language.

I'm here to help you learn Portuguese in the easiest, most practical, and relaxed way. I'll focus on your conversational skills so you sound more and more like a native speaker, without neglecting other areas like reading, writing, and comprehension.
I offer online, weekly, monthly, and individual classes, which can be private or in groups.
Brazilian Portuguese and European Portuguese are practically the same. The main differences between them lie in phonetics (accent and rhythm), vocabulary, and grammatical structures. Brazilian Portuguese is characterized by open vowels and a syllabic rhythm, while European Portuguese is more closed and faster, with vowel omissions.
So, with all my knowledge, my goal is to help you see Portuguese from a new perspective and develop your conversational skills.
