About Marta
I have a degree in International Relations, with a Post-Graduation in Positive Psychology and a Certificate of Pedagogical Competences, among other qualifications. My desire for continuous learning led me to study many other subjects and work in different areas. I started teaching Portuguese to foreigners 4 years ago because I fell in love with this profession! Since then, 99% of my students have renewed their courses. My goal is to contribute to a happy integration through communication in European Portuguese. I am extremely committed to the student's goals. Classes can focus more on grammar or conversation which I support with writing and relevant grammar. Thus, the different skills are achieved in a balanced and natural way. I value mutual respect when it comes to class scheduling and attendance.

I love teaching Portuguese to facilitate communication and integration. I work with various teaching methods and adapt them to the student's needs so that learning is stimulating. I can explore more grammar, communication or culture, according to the student's interest. Support conversation with writing and relevant grammar. I teach classes via webcam and provide audio and pdf materials (grammar, manuals and exercises). In classes, I mainly speak Portuguese, but I support with English whenever necessary. I also speak a little French and Spanish.
